How do I know that paying attention to transitions is making a difference?
Taking care of the emotional side of change has a payoff – although it is not always readily apparent or easy to quantify. Understanding and reflecting on Transitions takes time, and its psychological outcomes are difficult to measure. Still, those who have applied the Transition framework to their social change efforts have developed a few assessment tools and collected findings that demonstrate how it is enhancing their work.

Measures
Each social problem is unique, so it is impossible to recommend a “one-size-fits-all” measure to assess the impact of Transitions. However, several AFF grantees have developed tools for evaluating how the Transition framework has affected their programs and communities. more>
